History of Golf Clubs
The first golf clubs appeared in the fifteenth century in Scotland.
Formerly the sticks were made of wood, had a heavy head and the handle was covered with cowhide, lamb or pork.
To manufacture these wood sticks were used in different types of trees such as pear, apple and cherry.
By 1700 appear metal golf clubs.
The golf clubs were developed and modified by adding different metal bases to be able to hit balls at varying distance and improved ball trajectory.
The sticks are made with modern techniques and advanced materials.
Types of golf clubs
Golf Clubs Woods
These golf clubs are used when the player is more than 160 yards from the green.
Their heads are bigger, very tight angle and the rod longer than any other club.
