New NO BALL call signal rule from Square Leg:
As per the new rule only bowler's end umpire will make the signal of NO BALL. Square Leg Umpire is the best person to judge height of the ball the instant it passes the batsman. The Square Leg umpire should only provide information by signal to the head umpire, only if head umpire looks at him for information. This can be by use of hand to indicate the height of the ball as it passed.

Annual Club Dinner:
Annual club dinner was held on January 19th, 2008 (07:00 pm) at Mirch Masala Restaurant located at 9545 120th Street, Delta/Surrey. Cloverdale Cricket Club thanks all the club members and accompanying guests, for making this function a great success. Cloverdale Cricket Club is grows again as two new faces were introduced into the management team (Mr. Gurpreet Sangha & Mr. Jatinder Singh) and we hope that the club will gain a lot from there contributions. BCMCL Award presentations:
Awards presentation night was held on October 19th at 6:30pm at Brockton Clubhouse. Congratulations to all Cloverdale memebrs for there excellent performances through out the season. BCMCL winners: Jatinder Singh won the Sportsman of The Year award Pulkit Mahajan won the Best Wicket-Keeper award in Division 5B. Gallery
Club picnic at Cultus Lake:
Cloverdale Cricket Club's picnic was organized at Cultus Lake on 28th July 2007 . Thanks to all memebrs and families who attended and make it a very successful and fun event. Club performers were awarded during a samll award distribution ceremeony.Gallery
Dress Codes:
Reminder: BCMCL Governing Rule No.37 states that "All players must wear white or cream coloured clothing including a shirt with a collar and long pants. Players who do not comply with this rule will not be allowed to play in the match." Umpires will be reinforcing this rule.
Correspondence from clubs:
This is a reminder to all aclub members that correspondence from clubs to the League MUST BE from or through the Club President or Club Secretary to the League President or League Secretary. It is not a League protocol to correspond with individual players and club members.
