Casillas for the third consecutive time, voted best keeper of the year by the IFFHS
Iker Casillas is still the best keeper in the world. Has become so after the International Federation of History and Statistics consider it as such in 2008 and 2009. This time has passed to Julio Cesar (Inter) for more than 200 points.
The keeper of Real Madrid and the Spanish team, Iker Casillas, has been elected for the third consecutive year by the International Federation of Football Statistics (IFFHS), in a vote which passed the Brazilian Julio Cesar (Inter Milan) and Czech Petr Cech (Chelsea).
