Elimination of Italy in World Cup 2010 - As defending champion Italy did not show the expected performance. There’s no victory in the group phase. Italy also called feasible eliminated.

After only a 1-1 draw against Paraguay and New Zealand, Italy, subdued at the hands of Slovakia 2-3 in the final game. GLI Azzurri were eliminated from the World Cup.

The result is exacerbated by the fact Italy became the caretaker Group F. This is the worst cut of their long history of participation in the World Cup.
