Rooney Leave Old Trafford?
Rooney trained with Manchester United on Tuesday morning meanwhile his boss; Sir Alex Ferguson was getting ready to face questions about the future of striker.
Wayne Rooney, 24, is likely to leave Old Trafford amid reports that talks about the new contract failed.
Ferguson will speak to the media ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match with Turkish football club, Bursaspor.
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports linking the club with Rooney.
“I really do not give an explanation about this,” said Ancelotti.
“He’s no problem, but when a large team has a major player like Rooney, they will keep it in the squad.”
Ahead of Chelsea in the Champions League against Spartak in Moscow, Russia on Tuesday, Ancelotti has repeatedly asked whether Chelsea will try to woo Rooney in the January transfer window, but the Chelsea manager is not responding.
